Mrs Lesley Adjei-Mensah, Chief Executive Officer of Lesfam Company Limited, has been nominated for this year’s Forty Under 40 Awards in the Logistics and Supplies category. Lesfam, a food and beverage distributor based in Accra, has been operating for the past seven years. The nomination reflects the remarkable growth of the company under the outstanding leadership of Mrs Lesley Adjei-Mensah.
Lesfam began operations with just four staff, distributing beverages for a few local manufacturers and importers. Today, the company has over 80 staff distributing more than 200 brands of food and beverages for over 20 local and multinational manufacturers and importers within Ghana, including Guinness, Nestle, Promasidor, and Blow Chem Industries. The company commissioned its ultra-modern warehouse with state-of-the-art equipment and machinery at the beginning of the year. As an indigenous business, Lesfam prides itself on its robust processes and excellent customer service, led by Lesley Adjei-Mensah.
Lesley graduated from Central University College with a degree in Business Administration. She went on to earn an MBA in Finance and an MSc in Business Decision Management from Coventry University. She is also a Chartered Management Accountant with certification from CIMA. Her ability to translate academic accomplishments into business success is one of many attributes that sets her apart in the business world. Her vision is to make Lesfam an efficient distributor of food and beverages with a presence across the African continent.
