Mrs. Lesley Adjei-Mensah, Chief Executive Officer of Lesfam Company Limited, was adjudged the winner of this year’s Forty Under 40 Awards in the Logistics and Supplies category at a ceremony held at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City, Accra. Lesfam, a food and beverage distribution company located in Accra, has been operating for the past seven years. The award recognizes the tremendous growth of the company under the exceptional leadership of Mrs. Lesley Adjei-Mensah.
Lesfam began operations with just four staff, distributing beverages for a few local manufacturers and importers. Today, the company employs over 80 staff and distributes more than 200 brands of food and beverages for over 30 local and multinational manufacturers and importers in Ghana, including Guinness, Nestle, Promasidor, and Blow Chem Industries. At the beginning of the year, the company commissioned its ultra-modern warehouse, equipped with state-of-the-art machinery. As an indigenous business, Lesfam prides itself on its robust processes and excellent customer service, under the leadership of Mrs. Lesley Adjei-Mensah.
She graduated from Central University College with a degree in Business Administration. Lesley furthered her education by earning an MBA in Finance and an MSc in Business Decision Management from Coventry University. She is also a Chartered Management Accountant, certified by CIMA. Her ability to translate academic accomplishments into business success is one of the many qualities that distinguish her in the business world. Her vision is to make Lesfam an efficient distributor of food and beverages with a presence across the African continent.
