The South African High Commissioner to Ghana, H.E. Grace Jeanet Mason, expressed her appreciation for being invited and for the opportunity to speak at this year’s Lesfam Free Breast Cancer and Health Screening event, held at Lesfam Place, Ritz Junction, Madina, over the weekend. Lesfam Company Limited is one of the leading food and beverage distribution companies in Ghana.
H.E. Grace Jeanet Mason also extended her appreciation to the Director, CEO, organisers, and sponsors of the initiative for their passion, dedication, and commitment to putting women first. She stated, “If you raise one woman, you raise a community of women. This initiative provides women with the necessary education, and even the little that we do means so much because, with humility, we must always find ways to give back to women. Women are our mothers, and we must ensure they are healthy and able to fulfil their duties.”
Her Excellency pledged her continuous support for the event whenever it is organised.
The Director, Mr. Frank Adjei, and the CEO, Mrs. Lesley Adjei Mensah, expressed their appreciation to the High Commissioner for gracing the occasion with her presence.
The Lesfam Free Breast Cancer and Health Screening is an annual event organised by Lesfam Company Limited to support and assist people within the Madina, Adenta, and Abokobi municipalities. This year, the company decided to extend its reach by partnering with the Fafa Foundation International, an organisation dedicated to showing love and care to the less privileged in society.
Lesfam has already begun planning for the next edition of the Free Breast Cancer and Health Screening and hopes to attract more sponsors on board. This year’s event was supported by Bel Aqua, Bel Beverages, Anidaso TV, Nurses Beyond Borders, and Ivision Medical Centre.
